Right. The Taliban will roll into Kabul just like the NVA rolled into Saigon back in 1975. But there will be two big differences.
1. The North Vietnamese sent South Vietnamese “collaborators” to re-education camps. The Taliban will simply kill the Afghan “collaborators”.
2. The North Vietnamese did not plot any attacks against America after the war ended. The Taliban will not be so pleasant. Islam demands it.
The Vietnamese were ethnically pretty much the same except for the Chinese in Cholon. So there were too many family connections to cause a violent purge.

Afghanis are majority Pakhtun (Sunni) or Hazara (Shia) in the north.
