I wonder if some of this isn’t that people are realizing that insurance will cover this and so are now filing.

The rampant use of antidepressants could explain it.

Maybe there are more tests being done, or the tests are more sensitive.

[[diagnosed with either form of dementia” ]]

Either form? What other form of dementia are they talking about?

It’s happening to a number of people with HIV. It’s a side effect of the meds in certain instances.

Blue Cross Plans Say Alzheimer’s Has Tripled Among Adults Ages 30 To 64

_________________________________________

And what does Blue Cross have to say about Alzheimer’s among Democrat presidential candidates?

Seems pretty severe to me.

Here's a scary story I read this morning. Different doctors prescribing many different drugs and not aware of the others that the symptoms mimic dementia.
Medication fog can mimic or worsen dementia in the elderly

One of the first tip offs that a person is developing Alzheimer's is asking you the same question over and over in a short period of time, even after you answered the question.

Nothing can be done to stop it, and it is downhill from there onward.

With some Alzheimer's people it is fast, with some it is slower, but presently it cannot be stopped.-Tom

I wish I’d saved it but I saw a study once where a university took elderly people with dementia and alzheimers. They got these people off of most of the drugs the doctors had them taking. Over half of the patients regained their sanity. Over-medication is a bigger factor than Drs want to admit.

My mother-in-law started to go nuts a few years back. My wife found that the DR had put her on paxil. My wife got her off it and voila!. Back to normal.

The average age of someone “with either condition is 49 and women are disproportionately impacted than men,” the report, which is the latest in the trade group’s “The Health of America” series, shows.

Are Democrats disproportionately impacted too?
