RALEIGH, N.C. A man who gave a fiery speech for gun rights two years ago in Greensboro won the Republican primary in North Carolinas lieutenant governors race Tuesday night.
Mark Robinson, who was seeking his first elected office, topped eight other candidates, likely winning the primary without a runoff and shocking pundits. He spent less than other candidates one a state senator who put half a million dollars into his own campaign and he didnt have the statewide platform or political experience of others.
Were not pretentious. Im not spreading a political message. Im spreading a message of strong conservatism.
Robinson believes there is a false narrative being spread by the media about racism in the Republican Party Weve allowed other people to dictate the narrative and tell the story. Ive not seen any racism in the Republican Party the whole time Ive been in it.

Odd, I didn’t see a thing or hear aword about this on ABCNNBCBS................
They just probably overlooked it by mistake.........
The headline’s first word tells us exactly who keeps the color of a man’s skin ahead of all else — our press.
Imagine the article not mentioning his race or skin color. Imagine the unaware readers really liking what they’re reading about the guy based just on his merits.
Imagine a color-blind press...
Buried by the latest Kardashian news............
The Republican Party in North Carolina is mostly white. The fact a black CONSERVATIVE won the primary lays waste to the lie about the Republican party being racist. That was mostly white votes for this man.
The same can be said for Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina, another outstanding CONSERVATIVE black man.
White Republicans have no problem voting for a CONSERVATIVE black man, black woman, white man, white woman, brown man, brown woman etc.
Nor will you.
I didn’t see it on Faux either..................
“Odd, I didnt see a thing or hear aword about this on ABCNNBCBS................”
Let them know that Mr. Robinson once received an email from somebody in Russia - they’ll be all over it in no time.
One of the greatest things that can happen to America would be the return of "Black America" en masse to the Republican Party and its wholesale support of President Trump--and this is the Democrat Party's nightmare.
For President Trump to unite Americans and bring an end to America's long racial nightmare and send the USA once again soaring to unprecedented heights of ascendancy, prosperity, glory, and brotherly love would be a miracle celebrated by all benevolent people, and not only is this President Trump's intention and his plan, but it will probably happen, considering his massive support among Americans. Sadly, this would be the Democrats worst nightmare, which reveals exactly what they are and what they stand for.
Fantastic! Love to see stories like this. I hope support grows as the word gets out.
Imagine there’s no heaven, it’s easy if you try. Or some such bullshiite.
Unfortunately we have let the democrat party ingrain the perception among blacks that Republicans and Conservatives want blacks to fail and forever be subservient. We need to overcome that perception and let blacks know in no uncertain terms that we strongly support success for all people, equality under the law and the achievement the of the American dream for every citizen. Let every man and women rise as far as their potential and hard work will take them.
“Imagine theres no heaven, its easy if you try.”
That’s been the indoctrination for decades, and it took hold in da youts.
Today, we’re at “Imagine there IS a heaven, it’s comforting if you try.”
African Anglicans missionaries come to America to spread the good news. They consider us a vast mission field.
The article’s Mark Robinson is also a missionary, spreading the political truth.
This is a great story. I loved that video a few years ago.
Yes indeed I remember him on his outstanding speech regarding gun control to the Greensboro council. I said back then that Republicans needed to recruit him. Glad to see they did. 8>)
He has my vote.
Probably did have the air time, what with the national crisis of the woman who watered a plastic succulent for two years.
.....Easy if you try...
