Former Vice President Joe Biden has amassed a staggering 49-point lead over Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) in Florida ahead of the state’s March 17 Democratic presidential primary, according to a survey released on Thursday by St. Pete Polls.
The poll shows Biden leading the pack of candidates with about 61 percent support in the Sunshine State. His nearest rival in the poll, former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, registered at 13.5 percent. Bloomberg ended his campaign on Wednesday after a poor showing on Super Tuesday and has since endorsed Biden.
Sanders notched only 12 percent in the poll, just about on par with the 13 percent he scored in a similar St. Pete Polls survey released last week.

I don’t know, the anti-Castro vote is generally Republican.
I think he got the black Demo vote plus the asseted (and thus anti-Bernie) Demo vote.
It’s actually a sign of hope that even in 2020 America you CANNOT say in a debate for POTUS that there are some aspects of communist countries that are GOOD!!
I think many older dems don’t even know what their party stands for anymore.
Trump got a lot of the younger ones. There’s a lot more to be gotten.
Bloomie apparently split the senior Jewish Democrat vote, but to little avail.

In other words, they finally found out who Bernie really is.
Not just Florida. When the analysis is done they will find the 60 minutes praise of Fidel gave the DNC their opening to take Bernie out. It’s right up there with the Dukakis tank video.
Sanders has no chance in Florida after his Castro comments. And Bloomberg dropped out. Biden will take all Floridas delegates.
Bernie should have gone for the jugular about Biden’s corruption, lying, corporate sponsorship, mental condition, etc., just like he should have gone after Hillary about her emails but stupidly decided to declare it a non-issue. Too late now.
My remote diagnosis for Biden:
Early Lewy body Parkinson’s based on hypomimic facial expression (with some contribution from Botox) and decline in cognitive ability.
