The GOP orders their voters to do something and they disobey.

Or Republican voters exercise independent thoughts. Initially I supported Cruz. But I was happy to vote for Trump after he became the nominee, as the alternative (Hillary) was unthinkable. I have been very, very satisfied with Trump over the last 3 years and will make it a point to vote for him again. Isn’t that the way American elections are supposed to work?

Which puts the lie to the claim that "Americans" aren't ready for a woman President, since it was Democrat primary voters who rejected Elizabeth Warren.
