They’re backing off of it because it’s not becoming the pandemic in this country that they were all expecting. Or, because the Biden/Obama administration did absolutely nothing when the H1N1 hit, until over 1000 people in the USA had already died. That would leave a huge topic for Trump to pound Slow Joe with on the campaign trail and in the debates.
