NEW YORK - Britains Prince Andrew has declined to cooperate with a U.S. investigation into possible co-conspirators of deceased financier and accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, a U.S. prosecutor said on Monday.
Contrary to Prince Andrews very public offer to cooperate with our investigation into Epsteins co-conspirators, an offer that was conveyed via press release, Prince Andrew has now completely shut the door on voluntary cooperation and our office is considering its options, U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman said when asked about Epstein at a news conference about an unrelated case.
Bermans spokesman James Margolin declined comment on the options being considered. He said the princes lawyers had said Andrew would not submit voluntarily to an interview. He said this was after Jan. 27, when Berman told a news conference Andrew had not offered any cooperation.
Andrew, Queen Elizabeths second son, has denied an accusation by a woman who said she was trafficked by Epstein and forced to have sex with his friends, including the prince, when she was 17.
A U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation probe is focusing on British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, a longtime associate of Epsteins, and others who facilitated the wealthy financiers alleged trafficking of underage girls, law enforcement sources told Reuters in December.

The whole epstein affair is disgusting, full of perversion and corruption.
But, after the equally disgusting corruption of the US DOJ and FBI, I don’t blame anybody for refusing to cooperate.
Send your thanks to 0 and his cohorts.

Bingo. After seeing what happened to Gen Flynn and Roger Stone why would anyone trust the DOJ to act lawfully? Tragic.

It made me grin...thanks!
All these "Epstein didn't kill himself" things, from signs at sporting events to the guy in a Walmart who had them page something like "Mr. Clinton Kildepsteen" over the intercom

No one should ever “cooperate” with a federal prosecutor. They are not your friend. They want to put you in prison whether you did anything wrong or not. And if you say something they have evidence was wrong they will put you in prison for “lying” to them.

That’s because that pervert is guilty as sin. Just like the rest of those inbred public dole deadbeats.

I don’t blame him for not co-operating. What is in it for him? I do NOT support his past behavior, but at this time, I wouldn’t be helping them go after me either!

Agreed. The 5th amendment is for innocent and guilty people alike. And from what I've read, it applies to foreigners as well as citizens.
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

It would have been way more professional for him to say: "We do not comment on ongoing investigations." But then, trial by media and public opinion is way more effective.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
I hate to admit this, but I don’t blame him. I have little faith in our FBI, thanks to Comey & Co. Little faith and no respect. And nothing has happened to convince me otherwise.
