The statewide death toll from the coronavirus climbed to 30 on Wednesday, after a third Snohomish County man died along with three others in King County, health officials said.

The Snohomish County man, who is in his 80s, was one of three residents of the Josephine Caring Community in Stanwood who previously were confirmed to have the virus and were taken to a local hospital.

No further details were available about the three additional King County deaths.

So far, 26 people have died from COVID-19 in King County, three in Snohomish County and one in Grant County.

The number of confirmed cases in Washington state is now 366, according to new numbers posted Wednesday by the state Department of Health.

Gov. Jay Inslee said at a Wednesday morning news conference that the true number of cases is believed to be much larger - on the order of 1,000 or more.

If we subtract the residents of nursing homes here on the west side of the Cascades, very few others have died from this.

I’ve known lots of caregivers over the years - most of them had multiple jobs/locations.

I wonder if these homes have a common denominator?

Actually, I think a $hit ton of people die from the flu - and I’d be damn surprised if WuFlu exceeds the flu in deaths.

H1N1 killed almost 15,000 back in 2009 in the US? Where was the social distancing and media with their hair on fire back then?

Oh, that’s right, the Halfrican was in charge.

If this wasn’t an election year, we would hardly know anything about this virus.

The progression of delusion:

China - Only killing Chinamen because they eat bats.
Korea, Japan - Only killing orientals cause they're oriental
Iran - Only killing Iranians because they're 3rd world and kiss statues
Italy - Only killing Italians because there's a lot of Chinamen in Italy and Italians are old and kiss a lot.
United States - Only killing old people in nursing homes.

I don’t see how any of that is relevant to this epidemic and mitigation.

You’re seeing this through a political lens.

The political justice you long for will not happen.

61 million infected here plus about 300,000 hospitalizations.

Oh, that’s right, the Halfrican was in charge.

Yup.

The halfrican didn’t cancel all flights coming from Europe for thirty days. The Orange Man did that.

Maybe, maybe not. it can be coughed into the air and land on surfaces, furniture, tables, stuff you grab, in a common area, and other people can pick itmup that way, or even inhale it. If they are already weak its that much easier to be a problem for them.
