Well, so much for the bi-partisanship that President Trump asked for last night in his speech.
I thought this was going to be “satire”.

Except that the bill HAS NOT passed the House or Senate.
This is why every Demorat needs to be locked up and the keys thrown away.
The thing is, the virus is here. There's no keeping it out. You can't wall it off, it will spread like a cold. Quarantines can slow it, but since people don't know they have it for a while quarantines won't really stop it. It just has to burn through.
The other truth is that nothing Trump could have done would have stopped it short of immediately locking down the borders from all travel and putting the military on southern and northern borders to make sure nobody walks in. Of course some leftist judge would have issued an injunction and it would have all been for naught anyway. But it's too late to even try.
This too shall pass, but it could not have realistically been prevented and it's already begun.
