In a call with the Italian foreign minister last month, the Chinese foreign minister his hope that their “joint fight against the outbreak” would catalyze the creation of a “silk road” of health care, alluding to President Xi Jinping’s marquee Belt and Road economic strategy. Chinese diplomats have proselytized Beijing’s deft handling of the outbreak, as their diplomatic agencies sent hundreds of thousands of masks and thousands of testing kits and other medical supplies to Iran and South Korea at the end of last month.

Very well put together. Very easy to read. If only the statistics coming out of China were reliable, it would get a much better window into the whole picture.
China's aims are not narrow. They are still the Middle Kingdom trying to impose a CHICOM lead Confucian Heavenly Order on the rest of the world. But it isn't so heavenly.
Worth the full read. China’s actions are exposed more fully. However the author then postulates that the US needs to go back to supporting the UN & WHO more fully. Stupid idea when both are influenced & partially controlled by enemies of the US.
State views the globalist and the CHICOMs as their allies against the US. Remember they are the heart and "soul" of the deep state sellout of America to the "globalist order" e.g. China.

Many like Steve Bannon and Gordon Chang have been saying for months that the tariffs have China on the ropes. Bannon has said China is in a state of collapse, and compared it to Japan when we embargoed oil prior to WWII.
Add to that the Hong Kong protests.

That is a lie as regards South Korea. It was a company in South Korea that went ahead on its own, without government command, to quickly produce test kits for the Cov-19 virus - no CDC, no FDA, no presidents or cabinet officers, no national government command, just seeing what was needed and having the brains, the means and the ability to do it, plus a CEO who commanded his company to do it.
