This is turning out to be their ultimate plan to defeat him in November.

But I agree with closings and cancellations as we need to protect our health-care facilities from being overwhelmed. The patterns show large groups meetings etc. just gives this virus a feeding trough..

A friend retired last year and still has most of his money in the market. He has a small company pension plan and is doing odd jobs for folks so not to have to take money out of his stock portfolio.

Yes, at least at this juncture....I expect a natural rush over the weekend though. It helps that this area has yet to have any confirmed cases....that would change of course if the risk increases. So far people are just preparing.

We've seen quarantines are effective. But let's not panic until we here what the pres has to say later today. I've do my best to prepare for such an event - just in case - as many here have been warning to do. Being prepared for it mentally and materially will go a long way to lessen panic.
If president Trump declares a quarantine, it isn't going to be easy for us here in the US, but the alternative to shutting our doors for a few weeks may be far worse, as were seeing in Italy.
Well, I’ll tell you I’m prepared to have to quarantine for a time.
As far as congress goes, the Left never rests. They will not stop, ever, until we are dead. Paraphrase.
