One need not be a sycophant to dismiss the thoroughly absurd idea that Trump thinks (or thought) that the virus wasn’t real. None of his comments have given that impression.
Depending on what a declaration of national emergency entails, I don’t think this is an over-reaction. It may be what’s needed to free us from the threats the ChiComs pose. And just the biological variety.

Democrat debate coming up. It’s hard to imagine the moderators not asking “What is President Trump doing wrong, and what would you do differently?”
I expect the response to be “He’s a racist” but I suspect the viewers will be looking for a better answer than that.

No, his comments were about taking this seriously but not cause a mass panic which would be worse and more damaging then what the virus could ever do
If you subtract the nursing home deaths in WA, this virus I believe killed 11 people

Sure it sucks to be on of the 11, but this virus has killed less people then the amount of people who died trying to testify against the clintons.

I’m just wondering if air travel to various cities within the USA will be restricted.
