One day people will look back on this, go into their closet, see 10 tons of TP and say “What the hell was I thinking”
I remember Y2K. Thank goodness we followed the experts advise to panic over that one.
I ended up with about six weeks’ worth of toilet paper after last weekend. Not because I was stocking up due to COVID-19, but because one of the supermarket chains had a 50% off sale on the larger bulk packs of a brand I like. This stuff rarely goes on sale, so I grabbed a bunch. -shrug-
Or, we will break down the door...go in and be thankful for the two cans of beans and the 400 rolls of TP.
How long will it be when at our workplaces well see signs in the restrooms asking us to limit our use of TP?
Chances are, the TP stored by a wall will be shredded if not used within a certain time. If this were in NYC, I can just imagine the mice, um, rats rejoice. Nesting material!!! Baby mice/rats will enjoy the tunnels. What a glorious playground!

LOL. I did exactly that, about 6 months ago, long before the coronavirus news broke. Stopped buying TP and resolved to use existing supply.
Bingo, here we are and we’re almost OUT at my house, and store shelves are empty!
Good thing we also have a stockpile of washcloths and bleach for washing them.
Those cheap little bidets you can DIY install are probably selling out...a spray bottle of water works as a handheld bidet, too.
Do people buy one at a time??
I also have a gallon of Soft soap, 5 containers of wipes, clorox, hand soap, 5 tubes of toothpaste and 5 tooth brushes.
7 pkgs Peet's coffee and about 300 mini moos.
Just need bread for my peanut butter and banana sandwiches. Bananas in the fridge last forever.
