The White House is expected to announce that the U.S. will broaden its European travel ban, adding the United Kingdom and Ireland to its list.

Right. If you’re going to stop foreign air travel, it only makes sense to seal the borders as well. But of course they won’t do that. Someone might get inconvenienced or offended.
Good. Americans can stay home. We have a great big, beautiful country from sea to shining sea. Plenty to see and do here. And so what if we keep the Brits and the Irish out for a while? It won’t kill us or them. They don’t particularly like us anyway.
I’m in London at the moment, scheduled to return on Wednesday. My only hope is the fact that they said that US citizens could return home but would be funneled to certain airports. I believe I’m already scheduled to fly to one of those certain airports, DFW.
