Makes me think about how my AML leukemia actually changed my DNA. It translocated the (4,12) chromosome . (As well as acquiring a couple of mutations). After remission from chemo/treatment, the effected chromosomes went back to normal .

While I’m very much leaning towards this virus being made in the lab, I personally experienced how nature can do some strange things.

Wow. I hope you're in total remission. My wife is a cancer survivor, in partial remission. Since we're seniors, we're trying to be careful when going out because of her reduced immunity. Cancer altering DNA is something we don't think about.

As a fellow blood cancer patient (Mantle Cell Lymphoma) who also has genetic mutations associated with my disease (not the same, though), I’m not sure cancer changed the chromosomes or was caused by them. I actually believe it is the latter.

In any event, you and I both are in the high risk with heavily comprimised immune systems. I have IVIG treatments to offset that about every 60 days. It has kept me flu and cold free for many years.

Good luck!
