I cannot even fathom in my mind how this could spread at it has from one person, a patient zero.

That concept is mind blowing, honestly. If it did happen then this contagion is incredible.

Patient 0 is the Snohomish County, Washington man who flew in from Wuhan on January 21. He was saved by the Everett hospital using the Gilead drug which now undergoing testing.

He flew from Wuhan to Sea-Tac so it is likely he contaminated people on the plane as well as in the Airports. I do not know how he traveled from Sea-Tac to Everett so likely some mass transportation.

His strain of the virus is supposed to be the strain responsible for the many deaths in the Life Care center here in Kirkland, Washington.

is it certain he was contagious on the plane, or could have been infected by an unknown carrier on that same plane?

He took ground shuttle transportation from the airport. They traced contact with 60 people. Later found a 15 yr old who had the virus. They hadnt tested her due to her age didnt meet criteria. Same as his.
