I agree completely, but entirely anecdotal, first-hand experience locally tells me a LOT of people are buying all the BS and waiting for government to save them and tell them what to do. A buddy of mine manages the local Starbucks (no, he’s not a liberal) and told me their business is down to less than 5% of normal; he expects that they’ll close down soon. FWIW, they’re offering only takeout. A couple “neighbors” (I don’t have any close neighbors) got into a bit of an argument about property boundaries yesterday. My property surrounds theirs and I offered to get my surveyor over to settle the issue, but when I called him, he said, “I’m not going anywhere until this coronavirus thing comes to an end.” I ended up using my OnX hunt app to settle the issue...

You are right but when the dust settles people will feel played and want accountability. Some people..because others will be thanking their lucky stars & saying we need more G’vt control.
We will have to see how it plays out.

All in all though the biggest gain will be the return of the production of essential medicines & supplies to American soil. That is ginormous and DJT is all over it.
