In case you haven’t noticed, the model 3 is not beholden to subsidies. Please try again, harder, with more logic and less heart.

Sell me on the subsidy dependency with model 3. Oops, you can’t.

Most Model 3s sold in the US have state subsidies.
California their largest market is 2 grand I believe.
Other states like Colorado and NJ are much more.

Cutsie as you thought you were there the U.S. federal government subsidizes electric cars with a $7,500 consumer tax break for the first 200,000 vehicles an automaker sells.

We adults call that a subsidy.
