And every loaf of bread is gone. Suddenly, no one has any “gluten allergies”.

I saw the bread shelf cleaned out except for the weird gluten free bread.
And it wasn’t just some of it was left. It’s like it wasn’t touched.
And no one knows how to make bread???
2nd LOL!

Great point!

Last Saturday while shopping at our local Raley’s, a male customer with a very loud voice while using some Navy/Marine words made that comment. There was zero types of any bread.
Our pickup order from Walmart yesterday limited us to 2 packs of Ora Wheat Sandwich thins and 1 loaf of whole wheat bread.
Thankfully, there is a small Italian bakery down the street from me where I get my bread, and they had plenty when I stopped on Tuesday.
Heh, we were just discussing and decided that a lot of vegans and vegetarians may have to re-evaluate their life choices if food becomes scarce. Eat meat, or starve, what a dilemma.
Yet the in-house bakery racks are full of hoagie, French, dinner, etc, rolls. Bags and bags of flour tortillas, too. There was also a whole rack of Kings Hawaiian rolls.
Heck, I saw “garlic knots” yesterday at Sam’s...small rolls that have been heavily doused with garlic butter and bagged up 15-20 to a bag. Pop them in the over...yum.
Meat counters were mostly full. There were even those $5 rotisserie chickens...plenty.
Your post #6 cracked me up!

The store isles even have left over ‘gluten free’ items and things like ‘veggie noddles’.
Yummy white bread, real noodles, flour, sugar...gone!
Really shows how ridiculous everyone was being prior to this.
And now.
