President Trump acknowledged Saturday that the coronavirus pandemic was hurting his family business.
I wouldnt say youre thriving when you decide to close down your hotels and your businesses, Trump told reporters at the White House when asked about reports his Trump Organization properties were being adversely affected by the virus.
Im very unlevered in everything, so thats good, the president continued. But is it hurting me? Yeah, its hurting me, and its hurting Hilton, and its hurting all of the great hotel chains all over the world.

Imagine what dems will say.

What exactly can they say? That he's making it up? Nobody is staying at hotels, nobody is traveling, nobody is playing golf, nobody is holding catered events. Even a braindead Democrat can figure out that when your income goes to zero your business is going to suffer.
Dems will say “he shouldn’t know if it is hurting his business! He’s supposed to put it in a trust! IMPEACH HIM!” Nebermind it is obvious if you’re in the hotel and country club business you’re hurting as much as the small restaurant or other small business.
No, but they will say (the same ones who pushed bailouts for wall street) he shouldn’t receive government bailouts. I will be surprised if they don’t.
Agree. I don’t know exactly what words they will use, something like that.
Another GOTCHA question.
He handled it well, even a follow up and someone tried to go the same trend and PDJT ‘suddenly’ remembered a meeting he had...he almost ‘forgot’ to turn it over to the VP...
I think he showed marvelous restraint but - IMNSHO - he has to learn that ‘ONE of the best economies/responses/etc etc’
will pass but he still ‘insists’ on saying
THE BEST.....(fill in the blank), opening himself up to criticism and stupid fact checks...
Small but when the sharks are continually circulating around you boat, don’t dip your bloody hand in the water.
If it get too bad he might have to accept his 400,000 dollar salary!
He definitely handled what was clearly a gotcha question very well
Unlike the Russia hoax, unlike the 25th amendment “unfit for office” BS, the virus is real. It’s not Trump’s fault, but at least it’s something that actually happened.
If the shutdown continues that won’t be enough.
Democrats will say that all of the funding should go to the usual counter-culture dregs of society.
Most Americans know that they wouldn’t want the Democrats running the country now.
It is hurting a whole lot of businesses. We had take-out from local restaurants three times last week and we will be going to a Silver Diner today (operated by a person we know from a local church) to support them.
So, go get take-out today, tomorrow and for the near future folks. Your local supermarket already made tons with knuckleheads buying them out of toilet paper and sanitizer wipes.

The UK Daily Mail is slanting this fanatically.
‘Trump is deciding whether to have the government pay him for his losses’, or the like.
Liberal projection at its finest!
We all know what the Democrats will say.
The anti-America left is upset that POTUS’s coronavirus response, so far, has not benefitted his personal businesses. His businesses have suffered like all other businesses. So now they’re shifting to the upcoming aid package. If his businesses receive some of the relief aid, then he’s using the crisis for personal gain. Never mind that his handling of this crisis has saved thousands of lives. His businesses should suffer while others are given relief. The left is evil. If POTUS had wanted to gain, financially from this crisis, there are all kinds of angles he could have used by now. The left wants to use the fact that he hasn’t used the crisis for personal gain as a negative when his companies receive the same relief offered to all others.
Trump didn’t acknowledge shit. He said, I would assume it’s hurting business. Of course I would think he’d know just by talking to Eric.
“braindead Democrat” At the very least, a redundancy.
