To: a little elbow grease

“To do anything less than a full clampdown to smother the virus is to prolong society’s torture and possibly even endanger our republic.” “

An argument for not doing this, is that if/when the virus comes back in the Fall, few will have immunity because they weren’t exposed this time around and the human toll as well as the economic toll will truly be devastating then. Economically, we can’t do a full shut-down again in 6 months if there’s another epidemic.

Tom Wolf would reply ‘the solution is simple; don’t get rid of the shutdown we have going now, then we won’t have to revisit it in 6 months...voila...

We’ll se in 7 to 10 days. If we have been “good” enough that will be it. If not we will have to tap the brakes again and that is going to be really hard.
