I talked to a young traveler recently, who talked about how the Chinese will grab a monkey and clamp something around its neck. Then, with some sharp steel blades, they chop the top of the monkey’s head off and proceed to eat the monkey brains, whether the animal is alive or dead. Right there.
He said it’s a horrible place, China, and that he would never go back.

I remember seeing a “Mondo” film that had such a scene in it, except it was rich well to do people killing and eating a monkey brain “to make them closer to God.”
Mondo Bizarro (1966) comes to mind.
