What people like Tapper are totally missing, is that the ONLY thing that will give them a positive legacy, a meaningful legacy, and will define their professional lives in a positive way, is if they tell the truth and do their jobs with honor and ethics - without bias.
Everything else (e.g. a place in the Hamptons, hanging out with movie stars, getting invited to DC events and Manhattan cocktail parties, and being recognized as ‘celebrities’) means nothing. In fact, with regards their careers, the more that bs like that is part of their daily lives, the less substantive they appear to be, and are, as professionals.
