Many companies are looking for ways to contribute. Certain politicians think the only way to produce more PPE is if the government takes control of private companies.

What is the expiration date on those masks?
The rubber bands may need replacement.

what we really need is 153 K deportations a day, 153K tons of anti-malaria pills dropped from military choppers
153K days in prison for all OPEN BORDERS COUNTY JUDGES,MAYORS & GOVERNORS pointing their fingers at American Citizens telling them to “Stay Home” when they ignored the illegals enveloping their cities towns & nation
Tell ILLEGALS to ‘STAY HOME” FIRST!

If a random insurance company has 153,000 masks and respirators, why don't hospitals seem to have any stocks of masks, respirators, and other PPE they know they would need in the event of an epidemic?

Once we get through this crisis a lot of organizations should be ready to explain their apparent total lack of preparation for an event they are supposed to have been prepared for.

What excuse does New York state and all its public health people and hospitals have for not having a supply of masks, gowns, gloves, and other PPE?

2010 (H1N1 novel virus):

“The healthcare industry did a poor job of maintaining adequate supplies of N95 respirators. It wasn’t until the pandemic began in earnest that the industry took a hard look at its existing supply of N95s, and only then did many companies realize that they would be facing a significant shortage.”

Apparently, our healthcare industry did not learn. And the CDC did not direct them. They all need to be held accountable post-pandemic.
