For all the complaints people may have about them, I’ve learned that large insurance companies are generally the most stable, cautious organizations in the business world. It’s ingrained in their corporate culture.

I’ve worked in the insurance industry 23 years as an Underwriter, and I would agree. Company to company it’s generally a pretty conservative culture. Especially financially and in business operations and models.
