President Trump, please can the “much respect” crap, unless you mean he respects you.
China has has been evasive and untruthful about COVID-19. That (in part) has led to a US recession with millions of new unemployed and thousands of dead, deaths that may hav been able to be avoided if China had been forthcoming about the virus.
The US will takes years to recover. You don’t owe China any respect.

Not really. It's a public comment. With virus war, like cyber war, it's all smiles in public.

He seems to have dropped calling it the China virus as well.
I suspect he understands that being openly hostile with China when the lives of Americans is dependent on China’s supply of drugs is not the best way to go about things.

Trump is aware of many things of which you do not have a clue.
In the end drugs aren’t going to make a huge difference overall if they do work.
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
Nothing is to be gained at this time with a public fight with the commies.

The fact that you need to point that out means that President Trump's messaging is incomplete. His tweets should stand on their own., without additional explanation.

Red China is both a nuclear power and an economic power, you don’t just dismiss and/or insult them unless you are prepared for a confrontation. With a third of the U.S. economy frozen and a ongoing pandemic, it is not the time for that.
Mr. Trump is fully aware of the CCP’s duplicity, and has already indicated multiple times that there will be consequences. He is also not the only one peeved at the Red Chinese.
China will pay a steep price, but not yet.
Of course they will. They attack the symptoms of the disease and can affect a cure of them if not the virus itself. And the Chloroquine and Hydroxychloroquine are indicated as actually stopping the virus from replicating in the human body and in doing so lowers the virus shedding time period.
