That would just be the opening act.

If the economy collapses, critical public infrastructure would soon deteriorate. Imagine the lights go out — and stay out. Big cities would become unlivable hellholes practically overnight. Then, it would get worse.

Or, imagine the health problems arising if sewage systems get blocked up — that's already close to happening locally because so many people are flushing disinfecting wipes.

Good luck trying to convince the handful of pearl clutchers in here. An economy of +20% unemployment will lead to many more dead that this virus could muster on it’s best days.
