To: Bon mots

It’s my actual experience that Florida is very leery of Snow Bird companies associated with the construction business. That includes contractors and subcontractors. Licensing requirements are very strict. That is especially true in south Florida where knowledge of hurricane related codes is required

I’m not that type of contractor, I work in tech on a contract basis, often for banks or large corporations. :)

These days, most work is remote in the beginning relocating to on-site when the corona virus mess is over.

So my plan is to sit tight in the keys, living in an AirBnB until the smoke clears, then find a place close to work wherever that may be.

So far talking with companies in Charlotte, Des Moines, New York... but will go anywhere if I get work.
