I got a way of handling the germs all about and yes, I learned it from this event.
Before I go out I thoroughly wash my hands. I carry a container of sanitary wipes with me, one of a couple I got before they disappeared off the radar.
I tell myself over and over “Pat, don’t touch your face” and I leave the house.
Bear in mind that I live alone.
I stop at liquor store for vodka. I use my debit card, carry my own plastic bag, and tell the merchant I shall bag and using debit card, I shall buy.
Meanwhile, never ever touching my face. Gotta keep thinking that to myself because touching face, rubbing eyes, scratching nose, we do it without thinking.
After liquor store I wipe down my hands with one sanitary wipe then go into grocery. I cavalierly throw groceries in my cart, not touching my face as I continually mentally warn myself.
I pay with debit card, avoiding cash at the current time.
After putting groceries in Jeep I wipe down hands with sanitary wipe and go home.
After going in house and plopping grocery bags on counter, I put them away and, without touching my face, I wash my hands thoroughly with soap and water.
Not that any of the above is great genius EXCEPT I intend to follow this procedure for the rest of my life.
Because hands and face....that’s how it is spread. Oh, and someone coughing and spraying stuff all about. Which I haven’t seen because such a person would be shot dead on sight.
It’s not just Corona 19 spread by hands via face...ALL VIRUS’ ARE SPEAD THIS WAY!!!
Now my question to those of you still reading....
....Will you ever shake someone’s bare hand ever again?

Actually it ocurrs to me that instead of govt. trying to regulate all 350 million of us why not just key in on helping the medical community instead!! With the full force of govt. helping only the medical community my guess is the virus could be handled in no time at all.!!

Trump needs to announce the reopening of the economy for Easter weekend imho. The lib filth knows the longer we stay shutdown & shut in the more leverage they have. And maybe just enough so so Trump supporters get pissed & vote for the filth.
Maria interviewing John Kennedy from Louisiana right now. Love this guy. He has more common sense than anybody in Senate. He’s going over all the pork in stimulus bill and how it has nothing to do with fighting the virus. He’s is angry.
I would guess that many people are mad about them railroading Trish. Is it time to push back and show Fox in some way that we won’t take it any more? Do we just all quietly stop watching them? Will that have any discernible impact?
They will keep picking our guys off one by one until there are no little Indians left. CNN doesn’t mind that they’ve lost most of their viewers.

All good points and I just did that.
After posting the thread this morning, I went to Walmart. Took a baggie of Clorox wipes with me, wiping just as you did. Throughout my carting around the aisles I periodically wiped my hands.
Still no TP here. Lucky I’m a dude and only my teenage son lives with me. I believe statistically, the amount of TP used by women versus men is like 5:1.
Anyway, we have 8 full rolls left purchased from before the corona stampede.
My Walmart has more stuff in stock, but out of TP as above, and spaghetti-o’s, which my teenage son like to eat as a snack right out of the can. I got some beefa-ronie and he’s all pissed off. “Screw you, Son, that’s all they had!”
Beef, chicken and pork stocks low and what’s there is overpriced.
Luckily I have plenty.
HI and WY have had no deaths. ND, SD, WV, MT, and Maine have had 1 death each. UT, RI, NH, NM, NE, and AK have had two deaths each.
The Dem governor of KS has declared a shelter in place order despite the fact that there has been only 5 deaths and 261 confirmed cases.
You know better than I do, but there seems to be tremendous pressure on DeSantis to shut down FL.
Yabut he still voted for it.
I don’t have an answer, but talk is cheap.
We would need hundreds of millions of doses.
Things I learned today:
Cheap canned spaghetti-sauced products are not fungible.
Graham is an advocate of shutting down the economy for months. He is a complete a$$hole.
It would help if the R governors would get together and also support Trump. Dewine of Ohio is riding high with an 80% approval on his managing Ohio’s response, but one problem is he is letting the “experts” run the show (which as noted above is not always the best way to manage policy - witness Dr Strangelove).
Also Dewine has not mentioned Trump nor praised him at all. He is intimidated by former R governor Kasick (now with CNN) who goes into a rage when anyone in Ohio says nice things about Trump. in 2018 a key congressional seat R was endorsed by Trump, and Kasick did everything but demand that the endorsement be rejected! Ohio could be the driving locomotive to bring back the R party, but petty jealousies and egos stand in the way. (Not to mention fear of the media).
Dr. Price said if you follow his advice on washing your hands and not touching your face, you are 99% guaranteed not to get the virus. Surprisingly, he downplayed the risk from getting the virus thru coughing and sneezing. Harder to transmit that way thru the air. You must be in a confined space for 15 to 20 minutes.
Good review of actions to take to avoid COVID-19. Jesse Watters had a doctor fighting the virus in NYC on last night. The doctor said the biggest action to follow to avoid getting COVID-19 was wash hands frequently and DON’T TOUCH YOUR FACE WITH YOUR HANDS. If you followed this, he felt there was less than a 1% chance of getting COVID-19.
