One can always judge the potential truth of any Trump statement by taking the inverse of the media’s reaction.
Example: Large media negative reaction = almost certain that Trump is correct.
Why? Because media - who liveth not on the right side of the Bell curve (yup, two meanings there, and both twue, twue).
