Trump’s really trying to like and get along with the Saudis. It would be a huge mistake for them to mess with the US.

Everyone spies on everyone. It’s the only prudent thing to do. We certainly spy on our allies.

And everyone “meddles” in everyone’s politics. Once again, it’s a matter of prudence. Buying influence is way cheaper than the alternatives.
