That's too optimistic.
Yeah like local laws always take precedence over federal laws
Grapple, no leave them where they are. Social justice warriors and AG”s sponsored by Soros are looking to release everyone from the jails and start the chaos in the streets as planned.
“We need to privatize the prison system.”
We need to privatize most of what government does. Especially our K-12 schools.
“Two more weeks and people are gonna flip out.”
See about Italy today:

So if you get arrested, you get tested? Sounds like criminals get preferential treatment.
The jails and prisons need to lease additional security facilities where Covid-19 positive persons can be isolated from the general population. Additionally, they need to work with the outside medical community so that together they can provide secure facilities for treating inmates that require hospitalization for an infectious illness.
I think he needs to tell the inmates that, “Life’s a bitch then you die.”
They’ll understand. They get it.
Maybe Arpaio wasn’t too far from wrong. Test the new inmates, then house them in tents separate from the population if they are clean. Test current inmates so they can graduate to the safe area.
Those that test positive go into general population of those testing positive until the illness runs it’s course and they are clean. The facility houses about 6500 prisoners and employs 3900 law enforcement officials and 7000 civilian employees.
Problem is they are not listing the deaths attached to the C-19 epidemic in the prison. If you want criminals to stop being such, and call using prison as a deterrent, then let them know they are walking into close quarters until it can be straightened out. That’s how bio-warfare is accomplished. You don’t want to kill everyone, just make them miserable so they don’t want to fight.

What is "This"? Letting them out or keeping them in?
Very ominous.
Both.
Yet another example of poor planning by the Trump administration. /S
Amen to that!
Move them to empty state colleges.
Millennials won’t be afraid of leftover virus on surfaces, right?
It’s like a pressure cooker with no vent. It’s only a matter of time. I’ve seen one article that talks about the cartels being cut off from their suppliers in China starting drug wars. Cut the druggies off their dope and it’s gonna go downhill fast.
Move them to empty state colleges.
There are also many other kinds of facilities that are considered “non-essential”. In New York City the giant Javits Convention Center is, with national guard help, being turned into a giant temporary medical care facility.
Very good article! Thanks.
“Is it not an excellent test site for the let the virus run its course scenario? For learning about reinfection? Is it not an epidemiologistd gem”
Josef Mengele and the Nazis did that in WW2. In additions to starvation, they exposed prisoners to various pathogens.
Everybody thought that the Germans a cultured people, would never accept barbaric treatment of prisoners. I think we have enough evidence that there would be plenty of Americans that wouldn’t object to this type of stuff.
US has per capita prison rate of 655/100k, highest on the planet.
