What a putz....

Before I go farther with this, let me say that I think smoking or chewing tobacco is a health risk because the connection between cancer and heart disease is too strong to deny. I also hate the smell, so I bitterly resent being on the receiving end of secondhand smoke.

Oh you poor thing... smmfh...

Pre-packaged smokes cost to much, I have been rolling my own for the last 35 years.

They taste better and out of a can of American Spirit I probably get 500 smokes.

But if your one of those folks who prefer a tampax on the end of your cigarette you probably wouldn’t go for it.

I was a Levi Garrett man until they (Texas)jacked the tax on it up so that what originally about $3 a pack is now $10. It was to fund doctors in low-income areas in the Valley. Since it was taxed by weight, snuff didn’t go up as much so I switched nasty habits. Like Granny said in The Outlaw Josey Wales, “That’s a nasty habit, young man. Were you born in a barn?”

Did it for Mrs rktman birthday knowing that there was NO WAY of going back. Finished the pack on hand and never did it again. On occasion, I want one but after this amount of time I’d be puking.

I was in the hospital w/ severe-acute pancreatitis for 23 days, and stopped smoking. Stayed that way for a month after I got out, but re-started. Damn.

I rolled my own back in the 60s - both tobacco & pot - but got tired of papers sticking together etc. Also, too many items to carry around vs neat little pack of pre-rolled.

I had 5 stents into my heart, quit for 2 mos, but am back addicted to it, especially with first cup of Kona Hawaiian Coffee, in the morning. No heart attack... yet.

I can’t handle that stuff. General Snus pouches is what I’m running out of now. I have pipe tobacco and some cigars and my tobacconist is making deliveries.

Just got back from the beer distributor, they need to deliver.

I’m on Entresto 97/103mg and feel great. Absolutely amazing change in me since starting it.

I had a smoke in one hand and my computer mouse in the other. The mouse quit working. I thought.

That was just over 7 years ago.
