Dr. Stephen Smith, founder of the Smith Center for Infectious Diseases and Urban Health in East Orange, New Jersey, said the remarkable results he is seeing in his coronavirus patients using a combination of the anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine and the antibiotic azithromycin marks the “beginning of the end” of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Appearing on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” on Wednesday night, Smith said not a single patient he has been treating with the combination over a five-day period has had to be placed on a ventilator.

This is why we are “social distancing” right now, to give good people time to see if this is really a viable treatment. IMO if we weren’t put under stay at home orders the health apparatus would be getting overwhelmed and in the ensuing chaos this treatment would be getting short shrift. Nothing indicating any problems—the baby just came in and died.

I’ve been reluctant to criticize fellow Freepers over CV-19. I’ve not quite in the FluBro or Fearper category - but I’m not far from saying that there is an element of Fearpers who I think secretly hope that this pandemic is worse than expected.
Among those are Doomsday Preppers. I do recall a few of them posting something to the effect that “we’ll be vindicated” if this thing explodes.
Understand that in Gatesville, all the rest of us dead is considered a feature, not a bug.
