Oh, they’re regulated at the state level. But Fedzilla, through CMS, plays a part. It’s the CMS rules that were relaxed to allow nursing homes to refuse if the facilities fit the criteria. NYS is insisting that the nursing homes take back the WuFlu patients regardless.
Is that state veterans home in Vermont? I heard a very similar horror story about a state veterans home in Holyoke, Massachusetts.
