I went to my local/usual grocery market on Thursday AM at 6am....because my wife told me they were having 5:30am to 7am Senior Citizens only shopping hours. With the store being freshly sanitized and restocked, she implored me to take advantage rather than my usual after work foray. I acquiesced.

When I got there. there was a line...800 feet long leading to the entrance. I asked the cop...YES cop...at the entrance, why the line? He said only 140 people allowed in at a time. I asked if this protocol would be lifted at 7am? "On no", he said..."This is until the whole virus thing is over."

I responded..."I'm out. That's Nucking Futs.

I went ro a market closer to my house and the place was deserted. I got my supplies and was back home in 30 minutes. Much better than standing in line for 3 hours in 35 degree weather.

When will people come to their senses? I dunno. I dunna care at this point.

Yeah, the number of people at Costco by looking at the parking lot was about 50% of normal. But we still had to line up to let so many in. I rather liked it, because when Costco is full, people are total ass holes. Costco shoppers where I live are supreme dicks. They just charge forward with their carts, almost running over my kids sometimes, and pretend they don’t see you when you try to merge into a corridor. Walmart shoppers in my area are just fine. No real problems.

This is insane but walmart will make things worse. Now you will stand in line outside close together waiting in all kinds of weather to get inside plus they will block you from buying “non-essential” items.....
Just go to the local grocery store nearby!
