And this is fresh news? It's a good notice as to what has transpired, at least in my recollection, since the early '50s.
One has only to compare the mission statements/charters of the CPUSA and the Democratic Party to see that there is essentially no difference.

I walked away from the Democrats (I’ve always been an Independent voter) when the CPUSA bus pulled up to an Obama rally in 2012. I knew that if they were that blatant about it, the game was over.
Pelosi and Schumer are yesterday’s Democrat Party. AOC and her Squad are tomorrow’s.
