That may be due to people staying away from each other starting 3 weeks ago. The new transmissions have to be very low now.

There is definitely a movement to force Americans out of single family homes and into high density housing. Out of their cars and into mass transit.
The busybodies and control freaks who go into local government have big plans for all of us. But then so do viruses.

Yup. I have been comparing the actual data with the projections every day. The model is now being updated daily with the new data, but there was a gap between April 1 - 5. The projected deaths go down daily.
The sad part is that this flawed model became the lodestone that has guided us thru this crisis. Governors shut down their states based on these projections. The big concern was overwhelming our healthcare system. It never materialized except for a few hotspots that were stressed. In most of the country, hospitals and other medical facilities are underutilized as elective medical procedures were canceled, medical appointments postponed, and ERs were idle as people were locked down in their houses. Hospitals around the country are furloughing doctors and nurses.
We need to change course sooner rather than later.

They began restrictions on 3/11 and then went to full shutdown within one week. Approximately 3 weeks.

I have also maintained that as frightening as it sounds we will never restore the repub!ic without martial law. This is soft martial law under guise of a national emergency.
The army and Navy are going full war on the drug cartels. There was a report the other day on a mi!itary site that one of our shallow water vessels just ran over a drug sub and sunk it. My guess is we are killing them with great abandonment and ROE are kill on sight. The press and politicians just aren’t watching. They are too busy pushing corona hysteria.
Its hysterical that nobody is raising a hugh and cry as Trump dismantles the Federal Reserve before their very eyes. Without this virus scare it would have been impossible until after his reelection.
Seems like along time for elderly people and their families when they can’t see each other. It is rather cruel and unusual punishment and really bad for their mental health.
