Retired Boston Bruins hockey player Bobby Orr recently shared words of support for the Massachusetts General Hospital community and thanked workers for their role in battling the COVID-19 pandemic. Below is a copy of his letter.
This message is for everybody currently on the front lines at Mass General, doing what you all do so well. Thank you to the physicians, nurses, technicians, custodians, administrators, supply handlers—everyone there who is contributing in these unprecedented times. The battle against COVID-19 could never be managed without your tireless dedication, and please know that the people you serve understand your commitment, and we do not take it for granted.

Loved him! Even as Philly Flyers fans!
My mom somehow got hold of a signed and very used hockey stick of his when we were visiting extended family in Ontario. It sat in the corner of our garage for years, we used it when playing street hockey, even tho it was way to tall for us ... lost track of it, but it’s probably up in our attic somewhere.
