Let’s all pull our heads out of our asses, admit that this whole coronavirus thing was way overblown and get back to work. 60,000 is less than the number of flu/pneumonia-related deaths in the US so far this flu season; the 2017/2018 flu season was over 85,000! While not trivial by any means, is this a reason to destroy the friggin’ country?
The infection rate for the entire nation will be less than 2 percent in areas where it exists, much lower in areas with a low incidence of COVID-19 and we’ll see a mortality rate about 2.5 times less than annual flu and pneumonia combined. Has the president fired Fauci yet?

who’s doing the math here? 10% of 2.2 million is 220,000, so that means that 60,000 is less that a third of 10%. The reduction is more like 97% than 90%, or is my math wacky?
80,000 Americans died of the flu the winter of 2017-2018 and Chuckie and Nasty never batted an eyelash.
60,000 - Hmm, no more than an average year’s flu deaths.
Who made the projections? Can we string them up and their platform amplifiers.?
The lie is the WEAPON used most often by the criminal.
What are the effects of the lie? What damage has it done? Who masks the perp. with “plausible deniability”?
Rush, please don’t use the tactics of the left. I heard Rush and was very frustrated to hear this segment. The 2.2 million number was the high end WITHOUT ANY MITIGATION. But Rush presented the number as though the model presumed the same mitigation in effect that will result in only 60,000 deaths.
He corrected it without directly saying he was correcting it much later in the show. And I suspect he only corrected it because someone called him out on it behind the scenes.
And then he went on make some very odd comments about there not being a flu vaccine. I know the flu vaccine does not cover every strain but we most certainly have had one for many years and it saves many lives. I have posted my heartfelt prayers for Rush on his dedicated thread. I love him and respect him and what he has done for the country. But I love the truth more.

When has there ever been a plague in human history when people didn't do something about it, going back thousands of years. Why should anyone do a “model” assuming “if we didn't do anything”
And the deaths they are counting now is absolutely RIDICULOUS..if you die of a heart attack they say you died of coronavirus, without any proof..so basically anyone that dies its corona, its all about cooking the books

I wouldn’t be surprised they cut it even further by the end of the week.
I believe that there will be a big push, especially in the blue states, to attribute deaths to coronavirus.
Am I wrong here? I never believed the 2,000,000 figure or the 200,000 figure. I realized these were ‘worst possible case projections’ or ‘cover your butt’ projections.
So why get exercised over bad predictions? Certainly, the quarantine is harmful to the economy, but I’m hoping for that to be eased starting May 1st.
