No. PCR is FAR more selective and sensitive...cumbersome, yes. I have direct experience with PCR and immunoassay tests from developing biowarfare detection technology.

Assure a resurgence? There's no data to support that either yet you claim it as fact. There is only modeling which is constantly being changed with a "oh, sorry, my bad".
