Baloney. Step number one was to walk down the hall to the admiral. Hes whiny memo didnt say a word about what he needed to keep the ship combat effective. No request for additional medical personnel, no request for urgent replacement sailors, no request for decontamination equipment, no request for assistance of any kind. No mention of the mission.

It may sound harsh, but mission number one is not babysitting his crew from a cold. Its executing the mission of that ship to peak efficiency. The well-being of the crew is the next concern, and the reason its a concern is because thats what makes number one happen. But he forgot his mission.
