Murphy said he hopes people "get asked to leave" if they're not wearing a mask or face covering inside a store. But the Murphy administration clarified the rule, saying if somebody enters a supermarket without one, they can still access the store – espcially if there is a medical reason – only the store can limit their time and contact.

On the bright side; facial recognition software has just been defeated by the very entity that wants to use it.

The wife had an eye doc appointment today - had to phone the office from their parking lot, then wait until the masked and gloved receptionist comes to lead you in after donning your mask. One patient in the building at a time - I only went in to use the head after a 35 mile drive. Traffic was light.
My governor did a half-hearted ‘lockdown’, as if I was genuinely observing it anyway. The sheriff of my county (which in their own petty game of one-upmanship extended the end date on it’s own) made it clear in the county paper that he wasn’t going to enforce any of the dictates. In his opinion, the health department and other bureaucracies dreamed these dictates up, so THEY can be the ones to enforce them, not his deputies.

For example, ln the limited instance when stepping out for groceries, we see grocery stores limiting supermarket access to fewer and fewer patrons to maintain the distance required under current social distancing protocol. Once inside, each aisle of the grocery store has arrows dictating the direction for the flow of traffic. Registers limit the distance between patrons . Diana points out that certain locations (LA, DC)_deny access to anyone not wearing a mask.
In the linked video, the host, Jason Goodman asks, how long before they limit access to any building or business unless patrons are willing to have their hands scanned for a chip which identifies vaccination records?

I am deeply thankful for this measure and have been advocating for it since the closures, primarily for the protection of the store workers, who are mostly not young and fit.
If they aren’t working, if the stores close, people aren’t eating, and things get ugly fast.
Smithfield Foods in Sioux Falls, a meat processing plant, is closed for deep clean after 80 cases of Covid 19.
Maybe the plant workers, mostly immigrants, were infected outside work, but infected they are. Lower wages, cheaper food, immigrants living crowded...globalism screws us again.
