I noted that Trump made a point of praising Fauci and Birx at the briefing today. He cast his lot with them, and can’t be seen as overtly backing away now. He may try to escape their grip in the weeks ahead, but he’ll be publicly praising them all the way, it’s the politically smart thing to do.
for example, he said several times that his “open the economy” committee will include medical people, so hopefully he can’t get dilute Fauci’s standing by getting some competing medical voices into the mix.
The little sh*t loves MSNBC and CNN doesn’t he. A rat to the bone but I think Trump knows it. It bothers me plenty Pence picked this guy, even minimal vetting would have revealed his love for the witch. I hope Trump can find a way to ease him to the sidelines.

He’s that, yes. But, when I watched him be interviewed on the Martha Maccallum show tonight, he was coming across as if he was scared. He acted like the ENORMITY OF THE DAMAGE the shutdown was causing and WILL CAUSE was finally dawning on his limited faculties. And he must realize that most of America will be giving HIM AND HIS ADVICE major credit for the shutdown and its attendant DESTRUCTION OF THE ECONOMY.
