Well, well, it seems that communist regimes might lie—and that the UN might have their backs while spreading dangerous propaganda. Who’d a thought it? Losing loved ones can’t possibly compensate for a lesson like this. But if anything “good” comes out of this “pandemic” it might be a new generation of Americans waking up and finally adopting “Cold-War!” or “Red-Baiting!” or “McCarthyite!” habits (i.e. discovering and appreciating the truth).
If anything “good’” comes out of surviving a communist revolution it’s never losing these habits. (i.e. being habitually denounced by the mainstream media-Democrat complex as “McCarthyites!”, while never being actually factually refuted.)
And speaking of “habitual liars” as mentioned by communist Chinese spokesperson Hua while covering for his chums at the WHO (World Health Organization): “With the community-based polyclinic as its centerpiece, Cuba’s primary health care system has produced enviable results as it continues to adapt to new challenges.” --Gail Reed reports from Havana, WHO Health Bulletin Vol. 86.
Gail Reed is among the WHO’s favorite correspondents when “reporting” on Latin America. But let’s not pick on the WHO for this. After all, CNN is also quite fond of featuring Gail Reed, introducing her onscreen as a “medical expert,” and as “someone who’s lived and worked in Cuba for decades.”
“They (the Cubans) concentrate on prevention,” she gleefully explained to gaping CNN viewers through smiling CNN reporters. “They concentrate on bringing services closer to people's homes. When I first came to Cuba in the '70s, I was very impressed with their efforts in building a new kind of society," Reed explained.
Most of her companions of the time were also impressed. Bill Ayer’s wife Bernadine Dohrn for instance. Gail Reed, you see, visited Cuba as a member of the Venceremos Brigades, the starry-eyed college kids who visited ostensibly to cut sugar cane and help “build Cuban Socialism,” a volunteer Peace Corps of sorts. Or so we were led to believe.
In fact the Venceremos Brigades was a joint-venture by Castro’s KGB-mentored DGI (Directorio General de Intelligencia) and the U.S. terrorist group known as The Weathermen, that included Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn.
CNN’s anchorperson could have fluffed-up Venceremos Brigadista Gail Reed’s credentials by adding that from 1993 to 1997 she was a regular correspondent for Business Week magazine and from 1994 to 1996 she served as a Havana-based producer for NBC News, and today contributes to the Huffington Post.
When Andrea Mitchell (NBC’s chief foreign affairs correspondent) interviewed Gail Reed in Havana in April 2012 for an MSNBC report, Mitchell introduced her as “international director of the nonprofit group Medical Education Cooperation.”
All true. But for the past 40 years Havana resident Gail Reed has also been married to an officer of Cuba’s KGB-founded, funded, and mentored Directorio General de Intelligencia named Julian Torres Rizo. Reed is also a regular contributor to Cuba’s Communist party organ, Granma. In 1991 she was tasked by the Castro regime with writing its official “Island in the Storm: the Cuban Communist Party's Fourth Congress," a not inconsiderable honor.
Yet, quite interestingly, none of these glowing credentials are mentioned by any of the mainstream media outlets who habitually showcase Reed. None of the American viewers imbibing her reports on the marvels of Cuba’s healthcare and the wicked U.S. “Blockade” of her adopted country in those “mainstream” media organs might have guessed any of her background.
The partnership by this future WHO, CNN, NBC and Business Week correspondent with Castro’s secret police began in 1969 with those visits to Cuba as a member of the (DGI-created) Venceremos Brigades. This was also the beginnings of Reed’s romance with DGI officer Julian Torres Rizo. The terrorist offshoot from the SDS (Students for a Democratic Society) known as The Weathermen and staffed most famously by Barack Obama’s future “neighbors” Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn served as the DGI’s U.S. recruitment officers at the time, which proved easy. In that heady Age of Aquarius hundreds of starry-eyed college kids were volunteering to “help build Cuban Socialism” and “fight U.S. Imperialism,” mostly by joyfully cutting Cuban sugar cane.
Castro’s DGI had other goals in mind. “The ultimate objective of the DGI’s participation in the setting up of the Venceremos Brigades,” said an FBI report declassified in 1976, “was the recruitment of individuals who are politically oriented and who someday may obtain a position, elective or appointive, somewhere in the U.S. Government, which would provide the Cuban Government with access to political, economic and military intelligence…. A very limited number of VB members have been trained in guerrilla warfare techniques, including use of arms and explosives," the report said. "This type training is given only to individuals who specifically request it.”
''I don't regret setting bombs,'' wrote Bill Ayers 30 years later. ''I feel we didn't do enough.'' Three months after Dohrn’s return from a Venceremos junket to Cuba the Weathermen were busy in their Greenwich Village bungalow dutifully constructing a huge bomb destined for the Officers Club in Fort Dix, New Jersey.
But the bomb went off in their hands, blowing three of them to smithereens. So maybe Castro’s bomb trainers didn’t do enough either? That, or their Weatherman pupils were tragically inattentive during an important session.
“You come from a society that must be destroyed,” stressed Julian Torres Rizo to the Venceremos Brigadistas he was training in Cuba to make bombs, as he’d been trained by the KGB. This boyfriend and future husband of WHO, CNN, Business Week’s, HuffPo and NBC’s Gail Reed then admonished: “It’s your job to destroy your society.”
Don’t threaten. Just do it!

His Good Friday address yesterday was magnificent. The Bishop who spoke referred to him as "a Great Man" and recalled that the USA was founded on the teachings of Jesus Christ. The Bishop is right.
President Trump is truly a Great Man and a Great Hero, easily one of the Greatest Presidents in US history. He is not fooled by the Communist Chinese Oligarchy, WHO, or the hate filled, anti-American Democrats.
I watched his press conference yesterday transfixed. The power and depth of his intelligence, his honesty and candour, his magnanimity, his tolerance and forbearance, his his strength and powerful leadership qualities fascinate the honest and benevolent.
They pass unnoticed over the mediocre minds of the hostile "news reporters," who cannot comprehend a man so superior to anything in their experience.
He towers over them. The gap between him and them is enormous. They obviously don't dare acknowledge this, even to themselves, because of the terror and confusion it would evoke.
President Trump is self-revealing. He openly acknowledges that his power, including his intelligence and profound sense of morality, come to him from God. He acknowledges the power of prayer.
This is true of all great intelligence. It is channeled. People whose minds are closed, the disciples of Blind King Dhritarashtra, will find this incomprehensible.
For the President of the USA to pray forthrightly before the nation and for the nation is extraordinary. It inspires the benevolent.
A nation who follows the leadership of a man who prays to God for guidance cannot fail.
As we give thanks for our salvation and renewal this Easter, we can also give thanks for President Trump.
As for the Chinese Communist Oligarchy and their allies in the WHO, they like the meretricious (in its original meaning) Democrats don't know what they're up against so superior is he to them.
Americans will reject products made in China in wholesale fashion. Garage-shop entrepreneurs will appear by the millions to re-invent products for Americans made by Americans, the most successful funded by venture capitalists.
America will become self-sufficient, invent new AI-driven robotic technologies for mass-manufacturing of consumer goods, and build mutually beneficial relationships with other nations who have a free people.
The CCP will be starved economically as all their foreign assets are confiscated and their debt holdings dissolved for reparations.
Once their regime collapses, Chinese-speaking evangelists will flood the country and the Gospel will spread like a wildfire.
The Chinese people will be able to frame their own destiny as a free people.

I was coming on here to post the same thing, although a bit more Yoda-esque: No threat. Do.
Temporarily, maybe. But in the long run, China just screwed itself. Tariffs will remain in place and/or get increased and expanded to cover other goods. More importantly, many nations' businesses will finalize their relocation out of China to either back to the host nation, or other more reliable countries - as long as they don't remain in China.
China's government will get starved of cash fairly quickly. Good luck trying to take care of the infrastructure, military, etc., while having to serve over 1.3 billion people.
