AG BARR: FBI INVESTIGATION A HISTORIC TRAVESTY
Powerline ^ | April11,2020 | BY SCOTT JOHNSON

Posted on 04/11/2020 8:16:23 AM PDT by Hojczyk

That is how I read his remarks in the interview with Laura Ingraham earlier this week. RCP’s Ian Schwartz has posted video and transcript at RealClearPolitics under the headline “Barr: Russian Collusion Probe Into Trump “One Of The Greatest Travesties In American History.” I have posted the video below. This must be a preview of coming attractions.

Quotable quote: “My own view is that the evidence shows that we’re not dealing with just mistakes or sloppiness. There is something far more troubling here, and we’re going to get to the bottom of it. And if people broke the law, and we can establish that with the evidence, they will be prosecuted…

.I think the president has every right to be frustrated, because I think what happened to him was one of the greatest travesties in American history. Without any basis they started this investigation of his campaign, and even more concerning, actually is what happened after the campaign, a whole pattern of events while he was president. So I — to sabotage the presidency, and I think that – or at least have the effect of sabotaging the presidency.”

And.....this is another reason for creating the CV hysteria so this investigation goes totally unnoticed.

They need to slow it down until the election, where a lack of indictments will keep Dems within the margin of fraud to get Biden elected, and the investigations squashed (if they can pull it off)

Time, action and accountability will tell if Barr truly believes what he says. Words mean absolutely nothing when it comes to politics and politicians.

And the best case scenario: I am sure some low level wonk who we have never heard of will be designated to take the fall.

The worst? A big fat decline to prosecute.

“And?”

I didn’t like the part about “if we can find evidence”.

He knows whether there is evidence by now.

Bad sign.

Yes I agree, as well as its pace and lack of ANY INDICTMENTS!

In which bill barr blows enough hot air to power through a quartet of bagpipes playing Beethoven's fifth symphony in C minor.

What happened to him was the RESULT of the greatest travesty in American history, the Kenyanesian Usurpation.

Obama is not a natural born citizen.

Not ONE of our elected or appointed stood for the Constitution.

“My own view (libertylover's) is that the evidence shows that we’re not dealing with just mistakes or sloppiness. There is something far more troubling here, and we’re going to get to the bottom of it. And if people broke the law, and we can establish that with the evidence, they will be prosecuted… they'll probably get away with it.

Remember the non-scandals of Obama selling M-16s to Mexican drug lords and sending an airplane load of $100 bills to his Ayatollahs. Sadly, it's the NYT and WP that decide what's a scandal and what is to be ignored - move on.

They’ll write an angry letter and ask them to promise never to do it again.
