Trump called her names. That's a badge of honor for any Democrat. Plus she's from Michigan and Biden needs Michigan in November.
Whitmer is unknown on the east coast.
She's better known now. Besides, she's known in the midwest and Biden can use the help there.
I think it all depends upon if Biden participates in the Special Olympics.

Unlikely the Media centers of the Democrat Party will go for someone not on the coasts. Just my gut feel.
Biden needs Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Having candidate from one or both coasts will not help that. It's going to be a woman anyway so unless he goes with Harris then the rest of the likely women are in Michigan, Minnesota, and Illinois.
Could be Harris. But I’m going with Stacey Abrams. Her brand of racial grievance is more what the DNC ordered.

Stacey Abrams would be perfect. Unelectable with Slo-Joe heading the tickit, and almost as stupid as Half Whitmer, who is as dumb as a box of hair.
Not a chance. Whitmer or Klobuchar is my predicition. Harris, Baldwin or Duckworth as longshots.
Nobody likes Klobuchar, not even the demonrats that work for her.
Half Whitmer is still the most likely. Liberals think she is ‘Dreamy’ and everyone else knows she’s a moron.
People in Michigan are beginning to use the phrase “Heil Whitmer” for her mindlessly autocratic actions during the CCP debacle. Keep saying “Heil Whitmer” and she will be gone.
Trump hates her. That raises her in Democrat eyes.

Let’s hope Slo-Joe picks Half Whitmer, she’d be unelectable within a week of rollout.
