Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi told Politico Friday that she is considering keeping the House of Representatives out of session longer than the April 20th return-from-recess date, and may not bring Congress back until well into May — and she’s warned President Donald Trump to keep the country under lockdown even longer.
Pelosi is drafting a fourth coronavirus relief package, to be introduced when Congress returns from recess in the spring, but it now appears that trillion dollar aid bill will be indefinitely delayed while she holds her chamber in recess.

Well we’re all stuck at home and hopefully soon to be set free — so what do we need from the Pelosi controlled House anyway?

Mrs. Pelosi is seriously overstepping her authority. She presides over the inferior chamber of Congress and can’t even speak for the entirety of that, let alone the Presidency. She needs a serious cutting down to size.

This will not be the positive the Dems think it will be. Since they're economic illiterates, they don't understand there are also millions of people who are NOT being paid to stay home. They're staying home, alright, but they aren't being paid. We need to reopen the economy.

The various governors decide how restrictions work in their states. Abbott in Texas writing an EO now. Congress is not in session and Nancy is irrelevant.

...and not so amazing considering the party in charge. I used to call the Senate the most dangerous body of men and women on earth, but that was back in the day. Times change and the House has now taken over the bad business of our time. Just look who’s in charge.
If the house is not in session she can’t bring articles of impeachment to vote.

The country is in the middle of a pandemic and Nazi wants to stay on vacation? WTH?!
On the other hand she understands - as it seems most Republican Senators do not - that authority means nothing unless you use it.
Expect plenty of future MSM reports along the lines of "Ms. Smith's tragic death could have been prevented - had the President not, against the advice of his experts, re-opened businesses far too soon." Seriously overstepping their minuscule moral authority, of course - but inevitable.
