That is what we are doing tomorrow. Everyone stays in their cars. Park six feet apart. Pastor will be outside with PA system.

That’s the plan at my church in Minnesota. Mother nature may have something to say about that.

Our small church was observing parking lot services criteria. Staying in cars listening on radio or Facebook. No more than 10 in bldg. pastor, 4 choir members 6 ft apart, one running Facebook streaming and one in sound room. Bathroom was open only. We observed CDC protocol to letter.

Someone saw Facebook streaming and complained to county health department and they contacted our chairman of the deacons and pastor and told us 3 people only in bldg. pastor, Facebook streaming person and sound room, no bathroom. In addition cars now had to be 6 ft apart and it was pointed out to the petty bureaucrat that bathrooms were open in Walmart, Kroger etc.., and they were not required to park 6 ft apart in these businesses that out Constitutional Righrs were being violated the thug said they would send Ky State Police to enforce, quarantine and cite members.

We checked with a few other churches in Bell county and it seems we are being singled out and they can’t show us anything in writing giving them authority to do this. I am strongly urging the church board of directors to file a complaint with the AG and retain legal counsel.

Time for some serious civil disobedience.

Lots and lots of cars and people - then dare them to arrest you.

I’m dead serious. Tin pot despots like Commissar Beshear are going to push this as far as they can. They want to know how far they can push the sheeple, so next time they can go a little bit further. And further. And further.

Anyone who doesn’t think they are taking notes for the next “crisis” is deluded.

Yes, this virus is serious. Is it a crisis that warrants suspension of the US Constitution? Hell no.

Good for you.

NEVER ask “permission” to exercise First (or Second) Amendment RIGHTS.

The Resurrection is Against the Law

An excerpt from Bill Wylie-Kellermann’s classic Seasons of Faith and Conscience (1991).

The sealing of the tomb is, I believe, notoriously misunderstood. I grew up with a Sunday School notion that to seal the tomb was a matter of hefting the big stone and cementing it tight. The seal, in my mind’s eye, was something like first-century caulking–puttying up the cracks to keep the stink in. Not so. This is a legal seal. Cords would be strung across the rock and anchored at each end with clay. To move the stone would break the seal and indicate tampering.

The event conspicuously echoes the story of Daniel sealed in the den of lions. “And a stone was brought and laid upon the mouth of the den, and the king sealed it with his own signet and with the signet of his lords, that nothing might be changed concerning Daniel” (Daniel 6:18). As there, this is a legal lock on the tomb door–not air tight, but politically tight. To move the stone and break the seal is a civil crime. The resurrection is against the law.

The seal is also a recurring theme in the book of Revelation. Remember the scroll of history sealed with seven seals? Only One is worthy to break them and look upon or unveil the truth: that One is the Lamb who was slain. The seal is a claim of ownership and authority. Its meaning in Revelation is at least that God in Christ reigns sovereign over all history and in all events.

Caesar, in Pilate, on the other hand, violently disputes the claim. He has set his seal of approval on Jesus’ death, and now he guarantees it with troops. Secured by security forces. When the seal is broken in the resurrection, it stands among the signs that the power of the powers (death in all its forms) has been broken. The dominion of political authority–especially inflated, aggressive–and imperial authority has been cut to the heart.

Just for funsies, could you imagine an official in an Islamic nation giving such an order in regards to mosques. High probability that the offending party along with his family would be dragged from their home, beaten, hosed down with AK47's, dismembered and set on fire. And not necessarily in that order. The authoritarian losers in Kentucky and Mississippi are getting off easy. So far.

We just returned from Sunrise Services at our church at 7 a.m. CDT, this morning. We had a nice crowd. We all stayed in our cars. They brought a utility trailer with the wood boards for the Pastor to stand up on to raise him up so everyone could see him from the back lines. They had speakers to blast it out. One of our men sang “The Old Rugged Cross” for our song. The pastor started to deliver his message, it started to lightly rain. One of the deacons violated the 6 foot rule (who cares!!!!) and took one of those giant golf umbrella’s up and stood there with it over the pastor because he had his Bible open on a podium. The deacon stood in the light rain and held the ‘brella over our Pastor. The guy in our church who streams this all live put it on our church Facebook page and streamed it. They will stream our preaching service at 10 this morning to get ahead of those storms brewing out in the great state of Texas, moving into Arkansas and west Tennessee at the moment (8:22 a.m. central time). We are under a TORCON as the weather channel calls it of a 7 (out of 10) and are told to hunker down until at least 2 a.m. in the morning because we could have three lines of these storms come through. I have been praying to the LORD to keep everyone around safe. People will scream this is GOD’s fault. But they are ignorant of the Word. He is not causing it, not yet, this is not the Tribulation as some are saying, but He is allowing it. This is caused by satan as he seeks to destroy, and that big three letter word that even most pastors will not use anymore, S-I-N!!!! But, unbelievers do not know that word. They deny it. To bad so sad for them. Unbelievers yell there is no GOD, no such thing as sin, I don’t believe in GOD. Well, I just tell them one thing, YOU HAD BETTER BE RIGHT!! For you do so AT YOUR OWN PERIL. Happy Resurrection Day!!! I don’t use that word easter to describe this day. Easter was from Babylon with Nimrod’s son Ishtar. Not from the Scriptures.

We had the pastor, me in the sound room and a lady running the Facebook streaming. We had two songs our choir directors had to sing standing outside the front door on a wireless mic. Our parking lot had to have cars spaced 6 ft apart.

The director of the the Bell Co Ky health department accused us of congregating with the 10 or less conducting the service. Again all were 6 ft apart and 4 choir members and directors left the building after the music service. It seems the health department director was quite aggressive with our pastor and tried to make some wild claims until he finally said you are now violating my Constitutional Rights and then she calmed down. She had extensive knowledge of our services. She informed our pastor that the 10 person rule has changed but could provide no sources. Then threatened a visit at the end of the call by state police.

No other church in Bell co Ky had to operate under her arbitrary guidelines-NONE. Facebook page after page showed services like we had been conducting this morning. The pastor and deacons and congregation are furious at being persecuted by this woman. The pastor has been offered legal counsel and offers of contacts with the American Center for Law and Justice and if I read my pastor right an official complaint to be filed at the KY AG and possibly the DOJ. BTW, the director of the Bell Co Ky health department, her husband is a preacher. Seems she chose to serve HER KING in Frankfort than the true King!

Tell her to take a flying leap at a small rabbit hole. To heck with these liberal, progressive, communist &^#%$ (got to watch my language :-) ) bums. I have about had it with people TELLING me what the heck I CAN AND CANNOT DO!! I served 20+ years in Uncle’s Army and did my war in Nam, got my butt nearly knocked off for it. I did my bit so they could spew their lies and propaganda. I am sick of it. If they don’t like my America they can move their butts to the Soviet Union. I am sure we here at FR would take up the $$$ to buy their tickets, if they WOULD go, and STAY gone!!! Hang tough my friend. A safe and wonderful Resurrection Day to you and yours. We have had those bad storms and tornadoes down here in Bama today. They have stayed just north of us. I have prayed up this event for several days. Prays to get out in front of events and pray the LORD’s will be done with them.

The pastor filed a complaint with the KY AG yesterday and was told to continue following CDC guidelines and ignore the county health department and they would be contacting him shortly again.
