Ron Paul calls on Trump to fire Fauci because 'he's a fraud, doesn't give good information and is trying to have total control over the people'

Ron Paul called on President Donald Trump's administration Thursday to fire Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation's top coronavirus advisor, after he lowered the nation's death estimates for the coronavirus.

The former Texas Republican representative accused Fauci of providing 'bad information' when he said Thursday that he expects about 60,000 people will die from the outbreak, down from 100,000 to 200,000, but only if social distancing continues and effectively slows the spread of the disease.

Paul, speaking on his program, 'Ron Paul Liberty Report,' unleashed his criticism on Fauci, saying he was using the virus as an excuse to get 'total control' of the American people.

At this point any doctor that is still saying Hydroxy needs further testing and only anecdotal evidence shows any effectiveness in my opinion has a political agenda and should not be trusted. Discouraging and thus limiting the use of this drug will kill people. One has to question what kind of doctor would discourage the use of a potentially life saving drug to further a political agenda? While we may not know exactly how effective this drug is at fighting this virus we know for sure there is little danger in its use given the lethality of the virus. There is also little doubt it has significantly helped if not outright saved many people.

Someone has said out loud that the emperor’s naked. When this becomes widespread, somebody else will say out loud that he’s not the emperor.

The NIAID budget for fiscal year 2020 is an estimated $5.9 billion.

About 2,000 FTE heads.

HCQ has long been proven safe. Therefore, it would be smart and ethical to prescribe it to anyone who has the disease, and who wants to take it.

However, unless HCQ is proven to work (at least in the overwhelming majority of cases); it is no substitute for the social distancing we're enduring now. That would be very risky, and highly unethical. Suppose it turns out that it only works for (say) 80% of the population. If we abandon social distancing and allow wide-spread infections; millions of people could die unnecessarily. The risk is too high to take that chance.

The clinical trials will produce preliminary results by August. That's at least a year sooner than a vaccine could be developed. If the trials prove HCQ works, then everything could return to normal right away.

He is absolutely right. It is a very serious disease, obviously, but the response has gone a bit overboard. Finding alone surfer $750 in the waters off the Pacific in Southern California, is absurd you can’t get much more isolated than that. And sending in the cavalry was cops everywhere shutting down a church service Baptist Southern Baptist Church, what are the drivers were alone in their cars, listening to their pastor speak, is completely absurd.

That is a good point it will be very interesting, to say the least, to find out who profited from this mess. For example there were four members of Congress, I heard it on Fox news, Who sold pardon me, who were briefed on the coming coronavirus, this was about a week before it hit, and they dumped all of their stocks, and purchased stocks in companies like 3M, any company involved in the making of masks ventilators etc they made a killing.

That has NEVER been an impediment to President Trump firing a LOT of the "greatest people."

He can't fire those two fast enough. And then speak with a single voice.

Yes Fauci’s view is not the only medical opinion. Trump should choose this immunologist from Stanford who is studying whether or not California has already achieved herd immunity. He sounds very rational and level-headed. So does Dr. Mark Siegel.

Fauci told some presstitute that he wants Brad Pitt to play him in the movies, a sure sign of megalomaniacal personality disorder.
